About Me

Fuad G. Rafidi is the founder of Rafidi Law Inc., where he represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters and advocates for the rights of individuals in criminal defense cases. Fuad is a Palestinian-American born in the city of Oak Forest, Illinois, where he grew up. Growing up, Fuad developed a strong passion to become an attorney.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Fuad's father was involved in a trip and fall incident in the City of Chicago, where he broke his femur. His father's injury was unexpected, and Fuad's father needed the voice of an injury lawyer. It was his father's injury that helped Fuad develop an interest in personal injury law, which is why the firm's motto is "When the unexpected happens, who will be your voice? Your only choice, Rafidi Law."

When Fuad's father broke his femur, it took a toll on him, and Fuad was able to witness firsthand what his father experienced after the incident. Since then, Fuad has strived to obtain his most valuable asset: putting in the time, work, energy, and experience to zealously represent clients in personal injury-related matters with integrity. Whether it's a personal injury matter or a criminal case, people need a lawyer who will guide them through the process and fight to get them the best results under their unique factual circumstances.

Throughout his years of experience, Fuad has been capable of obtaining over one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) in gross settlements, and it is Fuad's goal to get you the best outcome you deserve. In his experience, Fuad was part of a first-degree murder trial team that achieved a "Not Guilty" verdict in Markham, Illinois.

Fuad completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice. At the University of Illinois at Chicago, he was involved in various groups and organizations, dedicating himself to helping the community.

Fuad completed his Juris Doctor degree at Valparaiso University School of Law, where he graduated in the top 20% of his class. During law school, Fuad was involved in the Appellate Clinic, where he assisted in representing criminal clients in habeas corpus and post-conviction matters. Fuad was also a 711 licensee, where he assisted in representing criminal defendants at the Cook County Public Defender's Office Felony Trial Division located at the George N. Leighton Criminal Courthouse in Cook County, Illinois.

In May 2019, Fuad became a licensed practicing attorney in the State of Illinois, where he is part of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Chicago Arab American Bar Association.

Fuad loves to read, attend sporting events and social gatherings, and spend time with his wife, daughter, two dogs, and two cats, whether going on long walks or watching movies.
